Midfielder Sam Finley signed for Stanley in the summer of 2018, moving from AFC Fylde in the National League after his contract expired.

Finley, 26, captained AFC Fylde into the play-offs in the 2017/18 season.

He has played in the Welsh League with TNS, playing in the Europa League,  and has also been at Wrexham.
