John Coleman and Jimmy Dunne have been nominated for Sky Bet League Two Manager and Player of the Month for their performances during February.
The Reds started the month in fifth place but 16 points from a possible 18 saw a jump back into the automatic promotion positions and finish February just three points behind leaders Luton.
Masterminding wins over Stevenage, Swindon, Coventry, Crewe and Cambridge was enough to see Coleman nominated for the award, alongside former Mansfield manager Steve Evans, Forest Green’s Mark Cooper and interim Cambridge boss Joe Dunne.
On-loan Burnley defender Jimmy Dunne started every game in February, as Stanley kept three clean sheets. The 20-year-old, in his first spell in the Football League, has been praised for his handling of in-form Coventry forward Marc McNulty, Barnet’s John Akinde and Uche Ikpeazu of Cambridge United.
Dunne is nominated alongside Jamie Devitt [Carlisle], Mohamed Eisa [Cheltenham] and Marc Richards [Swindon].
