The #UpInLights campaign has now raised over £14,700 thanks to the generosity of more than 600 Stanley fans from across the world!
It’s testament to the community ethos of the club that we’ve raised so much already, and it’s an achievement that we can all be proud of.
Today, we’re delighted to announce that:
1. We’ve been working behind the scenes, and have negotiated a deal with Lancashire-based company Scanlite (who provided screens for Manchester City and others), to deliver our Big Screen for a budget of £30,000!
2. £10,000 of this budget should be raised by the End of Season Presentation Dinner and the ASFC Golf Day. These have raised in excess of £12,000 in the past, and we look forward to seeing many familiar faces at both events later on this year.
3. These two pieces of news mean that we can reduce the target for the online crowdfunding to £20,000!
4. In addition, the OASSC are making a further generous contribution of £3,000 to the campaign, which will take the online total to almost £18,000 –meaning that we have just over £2,000 to go to reach our target!
We’re now on the home straight… and if we get to £20,000 you can still contribute – every pound we raise online means more of the money raised from other events can be saved for other great fan initiatives at the Wham Stadium!
So get online and do your bit! There’s still a variety of exciting and unique one-off rewards and experiences available for a limited time only.
