The Accrington Stanley Academy will be hosting a Football Festival over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Based at The Storefirst Stadium, the players will take part in a series of games and events organised by Academy Staff. Each age group will face a different opposition in a festival style event and a Man of the Match presentation will take place for each team.

Other activities will also be taking place whilst the players are not involved in a game including a raffle with top prizes including an Accrington Stanley VIP match day experience, a signed shirt and merchandise as well as other big prizes (Donations will be gratefully accepted). Refreshments will also be available all day thanks to the generosity of the supporters club including breakfast sandwiches and a BBQ later in the afternoon.

Players in each age group and Under 16 accompanying siblings will be admitted free, however, there will be a charge of £5 for adult spectators to cover costs of the event. This charge will include one ticket for the raffle per entry.

The event hopes to be a fun filled day for players, staff and parents alike.

The event will start at 9.00am on Sunday 3^rd May.
