Striker James Gray will stay at Stanley despite training with Vanarama Conference side Southport this morning.

Gray was due to sign for the Sandgrounders today on loan until the end of the season after a deal was agreed between the two clubs.

After late talks however, Gray has decided to stay at the Store First Stadium.
