Blackpool have confirmed the signing of Stanley defender Tom Aldred for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old signed on an emergency loan for the Seasiders on Saturday and was on the bench for their Championship victory over Brighton.

Aldred played 92 consecutive games for the Reds, only missing the clash with Bury last Tuesday.
