The Stanley under 18’s return to action this morning with a trip to Tranmere in the Youth Alliance.

The young Reds take on their Rovers counterparts at the Raby Vale Training Ground at 11am.

“We’re very excited to get back into action,” said Academy Manager John Townson. “We had an excellent weeks training, building on our playing style.  The gaffer’s taken a keen interest in the youth section and is keen that his philosophy runs through the club so we’ve watched some first team footage as well and hopefully there’ll be more of a resemblance to them.
