ROB Atkinson says there is no one to be scared off in League Two and is sure the Reds can push on after their FA Cup success.
Stanley overcame League One high-flyers Notts County in the FA Cup first round replay on Tuesday after a disappointing loss to Carlisle in the league on Saturday.
Now defender Atkinson wants more of the County performances, starting tomorrow at home to Cambridge United
“Tuesday was a massive win,” said Atkinson. “It was a great result for us, not just the financial side but as players as we wanted to bounce back after the result on Saturday. It was disappointing and we wanted to make amends.
“The next round is a great opportunity to pit our wits against another League One side and we will face them full of confidence and hopefully we will get through and get a good draw in round three.
“Now it’s about the league. We know Cambridge are a good side who have been on a run themselves and are doing well and it will be a challenge but we want to bounce back from Carlisle.
“In this league, any team who goes on a run of results and gets some consistency can make a push for the play-offs. If we had beat Carlisle we would have been within touching distance but we are still up there and now we need to push on.
“We have played most teams in the league now and no one has scared us. Every team is beating each other and it’s about going on a run and getting some consistency now.”
