Winstanley got stuck in with a local litter pick organised by Hyndburn & Ribble Valley Police Cadets.
On Tuesday Winstanley visited Oakhill Park to help out the local police cadets as they tried to give Hyndburn’s parks a face lift. During the day the group visited parks around Hyndburn and armed with their litter picking devices they got to work. Even Winstanley had a go in quite windy conditions. Accrington Stanley Community Trust’s NCS officer Lee Walsh thanked the cadets for their hard work ‘the group worked really hard all day and the parks looked a lot better once they had finished!’
