Stanley manager James Beattie is hitting the streets of Hyndburn this afternoon to promote Friday’s game with Mansfield – and he could be on your doorstep!

Ahead of the clash with the Stags a promotion is being run allowing a paying adult to get a FREE under 12’s ticket and receive a FREE Easter egg.

Beattie is hitting the streets to spread the word about the offer and he’s looking forward to it.

“We’re taking it back to basics and going knocking on doors to try to drum up some interest in Good Friday’s game with Mansfield,” he explained.

“It’ll probably be a bit of a strange experience but the underlying point is that the lads deserve support and we’re just trying to get a few extra bodies through the gates.

“It’s a great offer and if we can get a few hundred more people in supporting the boys then that’s what it’s all about.

“I’m quite looking forward to it. It’s going to be quite an experience but hopefully it’ll create some interest in the town.”
