Accrington Stanley Community Trust ran its popular Holiday Course during half term last week which was a huge success. Over 50 children attended the course on either the Activity Club or Soccer School.

Sport Development Officer for the Trust Chris Mullen said ‘’It was fantastic to see so many children having a great time during the holidays. We cater for everybody whether they want to play football all week or do activities. Our next set of Holiday Courses are at Easter where we will be running two 4 day courses’’.

Next week sees the start of our new Football Development Centre course at Accrington Academy School. The sessions are running at a slightly different time on Monday 3^rd March with the 4-5 year old group 6pm-7pm and the 6-7 year old group from 7pm-8pm. No need to pre book this session just simply turn up on the day and enjoy an hour of fun football. The cost of each session is £3.50.

For children who enjoy regular activities we have our very own ‘Redz’ Youth Club which is run from Accrington Stanley’s Stadium on a Wednesday, 5:30pm-7:30pm and is just £2 for 2 hours of fun.

Finally on Saturday 1^st March sees the start of a new ‘Little Stanley Kickers’ course which is a football session for 2-4 year old boys and girls. Why not come along and give your child their first taste of football. This session runs from 9:30am-10:30am at Accrington Academy Sports Hall.
