Accrington Stanley are looking to attract a season ticket holder from each of the other 91 Football League and Premier League clubs to Friday’s game with Scunthorpe for the second edition of “Fans’ Friday” – and break the 2000 attendance barrier in the process.

The Reds are following up October’s initiative that saw 1700 through the turnstiles at the Store First Stadium with another special deal for the match with the Iron.

Season ticket holders for any Football League club able to buy an adult ticket for game for JUST £10!

“Despite the result, the game with Dagenham was a terrific night for the club,” said Stanley Chairman Peter Marsden. “We hope that everyone loved the Fans’ Friday experience as much as we did and we couldn’t wait for another chance to offer the opportunity for season ticket holders at other clubs to make Stanley their second team.

“It would be superb to swell the Stanley ranks with some extra bodies for the night and break the 2000 barrier. We’re a friendly bunch and will warmly welcome you through the gates whomever you normally support.”

Even non-season ticket holders can still join in the fun by paying on the turnstiles – in the recent BBC price of football survey Stanley was found to be the cheapest day out in League Two!

Stanley season ticket holders can pre-purchase Fans’ Friday discount tickets for friends, family or colleagues, so bring someone along!

“It might be a cliché but supporters are the 12th man and extra fans through the turnstiles can make all the difference,” said manager James Beattie. “I’ll be looking out for supporters of my old clubs and hoping to see some Blackburn, Southampton, Sheffield United, Everton and Stoke shirts in the crowd.”
