Stanley youth Captain Liam Goulding expressed his delight in leading his side to the FA Youth cup Third Round.
The centre-back said; “I am extremely proud and I am glad to get through to the game against West Ham and to be the first ever Accrington Stanley youth team to reach the third round of the FA Youth cup.
“We have made history and we want to keep going and get as far as we can.”
He added; “I am proud to keep a clean sheet as it is our second of the season and in such an important game it is great to get one.
“We always know going forward that we have good players such as Connor Mahoney, Max Hazeldine, Nathan Webb and Dalian Barker so we always know that they are going to offer us goals.“
