James Beattie has been nominated for the SkyBet League Two Manager of the Month award for October.

The Stanley boss guided his side to four matches unbeaten in the month, with back to back wins against Bristol Rovers and Morecambe, as they climbed off the foot of the table.

Beattie is up against Wayne Burnett of Dagenham & Redbridge, Hartlepool boss Colin Cooper and manager of Burton Albion Gary Rowett for the award.

The winner will be announced this Friday, 8th November.
